We are creatures of habit and creatures of planning. So. Many. Plans. As a matter of fact, if you don’t have a plan these days, then you’re considered an oddball. “Whhhat?! You don’t have a plan? You don’t have a play-by-play plan for the next decade of your life? That’s weird! Good luck!”
Not only do we love to make plans, we love to stay attached to our plans. And a plan can be anything from your career, your relationships, your finances and even down to your daily routine. We can be so attached to a plan that we won’t let go of a plan even if our plan has flopped! It’s easier to stay in our crappy comfort zone, then to create a new happy comfort zone.
I have two ✌🏼words for you.
Let go.
It’s okay to let go of what you thought would be a dream job, of who you thought would be the love of your life, of the house you thought would be your forever home. Give yourself permission to let go of that last chapter so you can write a new one. Let go and allow the magic, the spontaneity, and the new possibilities to flow into your life. When you let go, just sit back and watch how beautifully, effortlessly and organically it all unfolds.
